Stable Hut
A Young couple from Kent were preparing to get married but could not afford to buy a house. Instead they found a stable hut that they could convert to living accommodation and live off grid which was much more affordable. They purchased a Solar kit and had it fitted and sometime later it failed to work. They asked if we would visit and we carried out some testing and offered advice which they had not received before.

The Bunker Job
We received an enquiry for a solar solution for a World War 2 bunker, they wanted to transform the bunker into a prep room for a laser gun themed game. The purpose of the solar was to provide power to charge the weapons and to provide lighting inside of the bunker.

What exactly does solar cell efficiency mean?
If you’ve spent any time in the solar industry you understand that one of the first questions out of a person’s mouth when it comes to solar technology is, “how efficient is it?”
While the measurement of solar cell efficiency is standardized and relatively easy to understand, it can often be misleading in real world applications.

The Solar iBoost+ works by using a clamp which scans your renewable generation and detects any excess energy that would be sent to the grid. The main component diverts this energy and uses it to power your immersion heater. The amount of energy sent is determined on the amount created and the household use, to ensure that it will not affect the existing appliances.
